ABOUT STUDY SMART TUTORS: Study Smart Tutors is a college and career access organization that collaborates with partners to promote educational equity, access, and success by providing a diverse range of tools for students, families, and educators. Our mission is grounded in closing opportunity gaps and empowering communities through high-quality, culturally responsive academic support. We offer an array of college access courses at no cost to our students or their families. We are able to accomplish this by partnering with schools, outreach programs, and other college and career access organizations to provide efficient and effective college and career access programming and classroom-based test preparation. To learn more about Study Smart Tutors visit us at www.studysmarttutors.com JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students Subjects to be taught: Elementary ELA/Math through High School ELA/Math (up to Algebra 2); Elementary through Middle School STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) subjects Be available for daily dispatch based on morning call-outs and staffing needs Accept and fulfill assignments within designated regional boundaries (North & West Los Angeles and East & South Los Angeles) and defined response time expectations Adapt quickly to new sites, materials, lesson plans, and classroom environments Represent Study Smart Tutors professionally and confidently on site Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff Partner with Study Smart Tutor’s Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students QUALIFICATIONS: MUST hold a completed 4-year degree Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired Strong preference for candidates with a STEAM background Comfortable supporting: Elementary ELA, Math, STEAM Middle School ELA, Math, STEAM High School ELA and Math (at minimum through Algebra 2) Ability to adapt quickly and manage dynamic, fast-paced environments Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned region In-person availability is required Scheduled hours: This is a full time role which takes place Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location. Requirements

• MUST hold a completed 4-year degree
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired
• Comfortable supporting: Elementary ELA, Math, STEAM Middle School ELA, Math, STEAM High School ELA and Math (at minimum through Algebra 2)
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage dynamic, fast-paced environments
