The Instructional Support Associate will provide comprehensive, year-round instructional support across Academic and Workforce Development programs, with a primary focus on English, Mathematics and Computer instruction, curriculum development, instructional technology integration, and student learning support. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: English, Mathematics and Computer Instruction & Support Deliver year-round instruction for foundational and advanced courses. Provide supplemental instruction and test preparation for math and other subject areas as assigned. Collaborate with instructional staff to enhance student engagement and outcomes in math-related content. Curriculum & Instructional Design Design and revise curriculum and testing materials for Academic and Workforce Development programs. Assist in the development of EOC-wide test preparation programs aligned with current and emerging opportunities. Integrate instructional technology into existing and new curricula to enhance teaching and learning outcomes. Program Coordination & Integration Collaborate with Associate Executive Director (Syracuse SUNY EOC), instructors, and Coordinator of Integrated Learning Systems to align tutoring services with classroom instruction and ATTAIN Lab resources. Support the ongoing review, revision, and implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPPs) for both Academic and Workforce Development programs. Assessment & Data Collection Design and implement mechanisms to collect, analyze, and report assessment data to drive continuous improvement. Assist instructors in using data to inform instructional strategies and student support practices. Bright Space & Learning Management System Support Provide training and support to instructors in the use of Brightspace and other digital learning platforms. Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality online learning environments across all EOC programs. Innovation & Continuous Improvement Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen online learning. Contribute to the development of pilot programs, new initiatives, and instructional innovations in support of student success.
