About The Position
As an Instructional Designer, you will develop training that transforms national security. Your role involves constructing interactive courses that teach critical information and tradecraft, requiring a passion for understanding customer needs. You will collaborate with SMEs, instructors, and learning technologists to capture training needs and advise on effective learning solutions. Your focus will be on designing creative learning solutions in a collaborative environment, building training materials with multimedia specialists, graphic artists, and technical SMEs, while following instructional design methodologies. You will recommend cutting-edge learning solutions, including blended learning and gamification, to create engaging learning experiences. Communication is key, as you will meet with various stakeholders to discuss learning materials and incorporate feedback. You will also collect and analyze results using evaluation methodologies, such as the Kirkpatrick Model, to fine-tune training for maximum impact. This position offers the opportunity to hone your leadership skills through mentoring and identifying new opportunities to meet customer learning needs.
