About The Position
The Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking an Instructional Designer/Trainer (Technical). This position involves partnering and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop effective and accessible training for a diverse audience. The role includes designing, delivering, and evaluating e-learning programs, virtual, and live instructor-led training. The candidate will prepare and revise educational and training materials to support larger training programs and initiatives, and deliver Senate-specific training for DC and State offices. Some travel to State Offices may be required. The position also involves preparing evaluation instruments and conducting diagnostic, formative, and summary evaluations, as well as providing consultation, documentation, and training to project teams for various products and processes.
