In this role, under the direction of the Process and Performance Learning Manager, you will design and develop robust, engaging learning experiences on time and within budget that are based on sound instructional design principles and align with adult learning theories and corporate learning models. You will ensure that learning experiences are issued via the appropriate platform and that all metadata and approvals are complete and accurate to facilitate compliance, effective searching, and periodic review. You will participate in continuous improvement projects or cross-functional initiatives in support of business priorities, identify issues that potentially impact compliance to learning expectations, and propose interventions or solutions to mitigate risks. Additionally, you will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of curricula by creating and implementing measures to track outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives. Effective communication of learning/knowledge gaps, metrics, and project progress is essential, as is establishing networks and relationships within and across functions to define training needs and current training progress within the organization. You will manage and oversee outsourced projects to ensure alignment with SME expectations, business objectives, and AbbVie processes, analyze and evaluate learning needs in support of clinical trial execution, and may work with vendors to design and develop robust, engaging learning experiences. You will also onboard and mentor junior level instructional designers.
