About The Position

The Instructional Coach is a school-based leadership role responsible for driving teacher development and student achievement through consistent, high-quality coaching and professional learning. The coach leads content internalization, oversees curriculum and assessment response, and designs and delivers professional development — ensuring that instructional priorities are deeply understood and consistently implemented across classrooms. Beyond individual teacher growth, the Instructional Coach partners with the Principal to develop school-wide instructional systems, and build a structured, achievement-oriented school culture grounded in high expectations and culturally responsive practice. The Instructional Coach works in partnership with instructional leaders at Opportunity Education’s other campuses.
