About The Position

DUTIES: Assist teachers in teaching special education students in all aspects of the student day Work cooperatively in an interdisciplinary setting with staff and students Work in special education classes and/or general education with special education students Assist teachers in the implementation of student behavior programs; when needed use CPI for deescalation and for restraints in coordination with other staff members in accordance with district policies-when school is held in-person Assist with preparation of classroom environment and materials for special education classes and students Manage and work with small groups of special education students and 1:1 with students as assigned Other duties as assigned
