About The Position

Intern duties and responsibilities will vary by specific assignment. Internships are only available to recent graduates, with a maximum one-year to 18 months in duration. The purpose of all internships should be to provide the incumbent with a “well rounded” work experience in the assigned area. See the job details section for specific areas of work.

Responsibilities

  • Create surveys and support others in building surveys using Qualtrics and Microsoft Forms.
  • Coordinate and assist with institutional research survey promotion across campus.
  • Administer surveys, gather and share results, and offer training on survey research methods.
  • Collect, analyze, and present quantitative and qualitative institutional data for internal decision-making and external reporting.
  • Support program reviews by preparing data tables using the Pivot Tables function in Excel.
  • Organize, conduct, transcribe and analyze student interviews for program reviews.
  • Review literature to inform survey development and support academic writing.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to faculty and administrative staff data requests through the IR Office ticketing system in TeamDynamix.
  • Create and maintain IR Office webpages in Brightspot.
  • Provide general project support to the supervisor as needed.
