About The Position

Institutional Client Group (ICG) facilitates primary origination, distribution, and secondary market-making of Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) product suite and financing to institutional clients. These clients include financials, asset managers, pension funds, insurers, hedge funds, private equity, central banks, and sovereign wealth funds. If selected, you will hold the title of ICG, Rates Sales, Americas Director. Requirements

  • Series 7 & 63
  • Extensive experience in Fixed Income
  • Be a team player - anticipating and solving problems for the group
  • Have a consistent sense of urgency around doing your best – day in and day out

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for covering important institutional clients at a senior level within our Rates Sales team
  • Strategic planning, budgeting, client wallet share analysis and help generate new revenue opportunities within the Banks and insurance clients
  • New business development in particular within the Rates space
  • Think strategically about the Business, stay on top of market themes/trends
  • Drive sales growth by creating new / developing existing relationships; generate new revenue opportunities for the FIC Financing business
  • Have strong relationships with partners, senior Portfolio Managers, principals and capital markets professionals at the clients you cover and to work collaboratively with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for your client base
