About The Position

Architectural Surfaces is looking for a detail-oriented Install Assistant, you will be responsible for the precise and professional installation of cabinets, tops, and from time-to-time wood trims. Your work will ensure that installations meet both aesthetic and functional standards, contributing to the overall success of construction and renovation projects.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years' experience in wood, cabinet, or similar material installation.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Have reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with installation of commercial cabinetry preferred.
Knowledge of different types of wood materials and their installation requirements.
Familiarity with safety standards and building codes related to surface installation.

Responsibilities

Interpret and work from shop drawings to determine installation requirements.
Measure, cut, and fit materials such as cabinet fillers, counter tops, and wood trims to specifications.
Install products in various settings, ensuring alignment, fit, and finish meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
