If you are a dependable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you. Banko Overhead Doors is hiring a motivated Garage Door Installer Apprentice to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn professional garage door and opener installation alongside an experienced Lead Installer. No prior garage door experience required but a plus—just a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Requirements

Reliable and physically able to perform job duties.

Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to work a full-time schedule
Ability to lift 70 pounds
Ability to stand, bend down, work in outdoor conditions for extended periods of time
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work

Nice To Haves

Construction or mechanical experience preferred (not required).

Responsibilities

Assist with installing garage doors and openers in both new construction and residential homes.
Learn installation fundamentals and progress through structured apprenticeship training.
Follow all safety procedures on job sites; help maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Work as part of a two-person installation team.
Lift and handle materials (70 lbs independently; assist with 90+ lbs).
Provide excellent customer service to homeowners and builders.
