The Role: As an Installation Coordinator, you will be responsible for the logistical and labor coordination of all installation jobs, including scheduling, job move-ups, and working closely with production group leaders to align resources effectively. You will create project folders, order Class II parts, schedule installation dates with customers, and update and release orders while coordinating job scheduling in collaboration with the Custom Committee. This role requires strong communication with installation technicians, participation in field measurements and take-off meetings, and acting as a key liaison between the Sales and Production teams. You’ll manage Class III extrusion orders, coordinate expedite slots and maintain ongoing relationships with end-users in the Healthcare and Retail sectors, as well as with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers. Additionally, you'll partner with the District Sales Department to determine appropriate labor hours for each job.

Requirements

  • Five+ years’ experience in a field installation capacity or related environment.
  • Project management experience in construction or related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure situations.
  • Must work well within a team environment and be a team player.
  • Ability to interact well with different employees and personalities.
  • Possess the flexibility to work a varying schedule (different hours of the day and weekends if necessary).
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task
  • Efficient in Baan, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Logistical and labor coordination of all installation jobs.
  • Job move-ups/preferred scheduling slots and assist production group leaders.
  • Responsible for creating folders, ordering class II parts and scheduling install dates with customers.
  • Update and release of orders and coordinating of job scheduling.
  • Work closely with the Custom Committee to ensure jobs are entered and laid out correctly; entering of class 3 orders for extrusions projects already shipped and coordination of expedite slots with production and sales.
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales and Production teams.
  • Responsible for communicating with all installation technicians on a daily basis.
  • Conduct field measurements.
  • Participate in take-off meetings and customer interfacing.
  • Develop and maintain relationship with End-users in the Health Care and Retail segments as well as General Contractors, Sub-contractors, Architects and Suppliers.
  • Interact with District Sales Department on a continual basis to determine proper labor hours.
