About The Position

This position is responsible for a variety of actions including but not limited to: managing multiple concurrent installation projects; training external and internal parties in the installation, configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and light repair of Codonics products; making on-site visits to new and existing installations as specifically identified by the Director of Technical Services.. Management of installation projects requires the ability to manage multiple high priority projects concurrently. Project management includes acting as the focal point for external partners and customers; conducting regular project meetings; team leadership and coordinating the efforts of additional Codonics on-site installation personnel. The person(s) in this position will work in conjunction with Sales, Technical Services, and Engineering. When not performing the activities mentioned herein, take an active role in the further establishment of infrastructure to increase the efficiency of new product installation by internal and external technical personnel. Travel will average 20% of the time but may be up to 33% for some periods.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Proven self management and supervisory skills
  • Comfortable with Microsoft software, specifically Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Associate degree level work or greater in a related field of study
  • 2+ years in contact with customers in a technical role, familiarity with TCP/IP, networking, FTP, SMTP, Virtual Machines, hands-on troubleshooting, diagnosis, configuration of networked equipment, and other associated networking/software environments

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Project experience is a plus.
  • Preference will be given to individuals possessing Project Management training and/or certification, Certified Pharmacy Technician or other related certifications and/or familiarity with networking, Linux, pharmacology and anesthesiology, vendor procedures for working on site at hospital/medical facilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage and document the status of installation and implementation projects at assigned customers.
  • Contact specified departments of the customer site to coordinate and maximize the impact of the on-site visit.
  • Train others remotely and on site and immediately assess the understanding of Codonics products and services in order to ensure a successful installation.
  • Listen, interpret and direct customer concerns regarding a new product installation towards the positive adoption and understanding of the specified Codonics product.
  • React quickly and calmly to customer concerns that may require the ability to delegate said concerns/requests to the appropriate Codonics departments (including but not limited to: Sales, Manufacturing, Shipping, Service and Technical Support) with the ability to track and follow delegated tasks through completion.
  • Feedback findings during the installation life cycle to promote corrective action within Codonics and to drive continuous improvements, specifically reporting product issues to department and product management.
  • When not performing activities related to product installations, work with the Technical Support group to advance the general level of knowledge of the equipment and answer incoming calls.
  • Take part in planning and performing internal and external training for end user and channel partners.
  • Acquire all knowledge required to be able to assess the site in a comprehensive manner (Many installations require a basic understanding of systems/services/equipment working in concert with the specific Codonics product).
  • Arrange travel as required.
  • Additional duties may be assigned as determined by the Director of Technical Services.
