About The Position
CTL Engineering is hiring for Inspectors | Roadway Monitors for VDOT projects and support where you will play a key role in all aspects of interstate maintenance, inspection and testing services. You will use experience while learning new skills to assist clients through our cross-functional team dynamic and company culture. Requirements
- Experience with: Inspection services (roadway, bridge) and/or Roadway Monitoring Transportation maintenance projects Related fields
- Knowledge of work zone safety, erosion, sediment control.
- Experience ensuring compliance of contract standards and specifications.
- Knowledge of VDOT policies as they relate to quality workmanship and materials in transportation maintenance projects.
- Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.
Nice To Haves
- VDOT project experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect for compliance with state specifications, plans and/or proposals on roadway and bridge projects.
- Prepare and maintain project records and reports in a timely manner.
- Notify the Contractor or the Project Engineer about non-conforming work.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
