As a member of our Housekeeping Team, the Housekeeping Inspector will be focused on conducting daily room Inspections while ensuring Departmental and Hotel policies and procedures are followed, and that cleanliness and service standards are maintained. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; prior Housekeeping supervisory and hospitality experience desired.
  • Knowledge and experience effectively utilizing specified devices and related technology for operational excellence.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs. with assistance) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the cleanliness and maintenance of guest accommodations and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure that all Forbes and AAA standards are properly executed by conducting inspections of both occupied clean and vacant clean rooms.
  • The expectation of a Housekeeping Inspector is to complete a minimum of 30 inspections per day, including both occupied and vacant clean rooms.
  • Assist in the preparation and inspection of all VIP and Special Guest arrival and occupied rooms.
  • Communicate pertinent information to employees regarding daily expectations.
  • Aids in the completion of Guest Room Attendant assignments by performing duties such as making beds, soiled linen and debris removal, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning and supplying guest rooms.
  • Acquire complete understanding of the Hotel’s Safety and Security guidelines, SDS compliance and actively participates in fire / safety drills.
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings and applicable training classes.
  • Assist in linen and supply inventories.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
