Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.Job Summary Analyzes agency activity within a portfolio of assigned core Foremost agencies and associated premium under management to understand trends and is responsible for realizing premium and profit objectives for all lines of business (personal, specialty and commercial auto). Assists management in the development and implementation of departmental and zone strategies independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • State insurance license desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales, marketing or insurance experience.
  • Specialty, Auto and Commercial Auto lines product knowledge.
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish, particularly in the areas of speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Must successfully pass a third party testing process as determined by Farmers and meet the minimum proficiency standard for the approved language(s) based on the established testing guidelines.
  • Proficient in required technology and software.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes agency activity within a portfolio of assigned agencies and associated premium under management and recommends methods to provide profitable policy and premium growth.
  • Works independently or as part of a team, implements special zone or departmental strategies as assigned.
  • Promotes overall company value proposition and drives results for multiple lines of business (Personal, Specialty and Commercial Auto).
  • Utilizes consultative skills to train on products, services and technology in order to achieve objectives.
  • Routinely records information about agency competitors, segmentation and contact activity, maintaining up- to-date data for use within Independent Agency Distribution.
  • Develops agency management expertise and techniques.
  • Enhances knowledge of the company, products, processes and markets through planned training activities and self-directed learning.
  • Directs licensing and service requests to proper support groups.
  • As needed, collaborates with other functional areas (Service, Underwriting and Product), and field zone counterparts to support broader company objectives.
  • Applies technology to effectively manage portfolio.
  • Develops a tactical plan and measures results.
