About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Support role is responsible for fielding incoming aftermarket customer requests, developing proposals to meet those requests and entering the order for the resulting transactions ranging from spare parts, paid service, and any other aftermarket work. This role will be focused on maintaining superior customer support with a focus on sales in the solutions offered to the customer.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer follow-up, attention to detail, strong organization and efficient time management skills are required
  • Drive to sell, communicate, and develop customer interest in ITS equipment and services.
  • Must be a self-starter and possess a strong sense of urgency, integrity and drive for success.
  • Effective interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written/digital communication skills are essential.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a very fast paced, sometimes stressful environment and possess strong decision-making skills.
  • Must remain positive and supportive with those customers that are experiencing difficult situations.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general office related software. (Ex: Microsoft Office)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical degree
  • Previous role requiring extensive customer interaction.
  • Previous experience in daily interaction and operation within a Business System (ERP).
  • Previous experience in the daily interaction and operation with a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from customers to establish and maintain positive working relationships. Inquiries to include questions, quote requests, and orders for parts of a mechanical and electrical nature.
  • Participate in periodic Quality Control and CSS field meetings to better understand the ITS customer based and the different needs throughout each organization. Additionally, to further understand the basic nomenclature and use of the ITS product offerings.
  • Be involved with certain ITS vendor presentations to remain current regarding different technologies and solutions that are available for our customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding the status of open orders to customers and internal parties, including the use of a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
  • Participate in the management of a future online replacement parts catalog and e-commerce store.
  • Ability to problem solve and make recommendations regarding the return of products due to customer dissatisfaction and/or part failure.
  • Document customer data that is collected in an effort to evolve the sales approach to better the ITS market share in both OEM and aftermarket areas.
  • Work with the Field Service Engineers to facilitate feedback from the field and from equipment designs in an effort to achieve companywide continuous improvement.
  • Provide inside support to the sales and engineering staff as needed.
