This role will partner with the SIR Sales Manager—who will focus on cascading corporate KPIs and initiatives—by addressing process-related questions, resolving technical concerns, and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency. This position will safeguard operational integrity and compliance standards across all Northeast districts, ensuring seamless processes, accurate reporting, and proactive training to mitigate slumps in KPI achievement. The primary objective is to workshop process improvements for all team members in order to effectively meet the goals set for by management and assist in removing roadblocks to success. How you will do it Model and champion Johnson Controls values. Create a safe environment for the discussion and resolution of value-related issues and concerns. Audit existing training materials and process documentation to identify gaps, then update or develop resources that enhance clarity and streamline training. Foster strong relationships with team members and gain insight into their challenges to effectively coach on organizational and process improvements. Establish weekly office hours to address technical issues and provide guidance on SIR responsibilities, ensuring open communication and support for the team. Drive measurable improvement in team KPIs and efficiency.

Requirements

  • College Degree in Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience, including 3 years of field sales management experience in a business-to-business environment, or successful management of another sales channel.
  • Demonstrated skills, ability and comfort supporting a high volume/transaction sales team.
  • Comfortable supporting and working in teams and successful selling at all customer levels.
  • Able to create and develop solutions to customer needs while meeting objectives.
  • Committed to developing and organizing a multi-talented team.
  • Business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and team building skills with a strong understanding of inter-departmental relations.
  • Proven time management skills, prioritization and delivery against deadlines.
  • Experience in supporting a team through a transition or significant organizational change or successful management of another sales channel.
