As an Inbound Sales Specialist, you’ll be the go-to resource for customers, guiding them through the office furniture selection process, solving their challenges, and ensuring a seamless experience from first contact to post-sale support. You'll handle inbound inquiries via phone, chat, email, online forms, virtual meetings with clients, and in-person visits. You’ll work closely with internal teams, present office layouts over video calls, and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business. The Inbound Sales Specialist role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping others and excels at building lasting customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Results-oriented and proactive with a strong drive to excel and achieve top performance
  • 2+ years of experience in inside or outside sales
  • Mechanical knowledge sufficient to sell a technical, highly configurable product
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to competently and confidently present information to groups in person or via video meetings
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with sales and support software, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo or similar CRM and lead generation platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Data Analytics
  • Familiarity with office furniture or ergonomic solutions and an understanding of product benefits and features
  • Prior sales experience in an ecommerce environment

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customers across various channels, including phone, chat, email, virtual meetings with clients, and in-person visits
  • Assist customers with furniture selection and provide expert guidance to meet their unique needs and preferences
  • Provide accurate quotes, pricing, and proposals to potential customers based on their needs, negotiating as necessary to close deals
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase how the products and services can solve customer challenges
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records in the CRM, ensuring all customer interactions are logged
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth and accurate ordering process
  • Resolve customer issues and overcome challenges throughout the entire purchase and post-sale process
  • Follow up with existing clients to encourage repeat business and check on their satisfaction
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business, upsell additional products/services, and generate referrals
  • Adapt to changes in processes, products, and customer needs, providing flexibility and resilience
