About The Position

Sartorius is seeking an Inside Sales Specialist for a hybrid-based role to help accelerate revenue growth by supporting a targeted portfolio of small and start‑up accounts. In this position, you will strengthen customer relationships, collaborate closely with field-based Sales Specialists, and contribute directly to achieving annual sales targets within the designated business area. A key focus of the role is driving the renewal of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for preventative maintenance, ensuring continuity of service and high customer satisfaction. In this position, you will strengthen customer relationships, collaborate closely with field-based Sales Specialists, and contribute directly to achieving annual sales targets within the designated business area. A key focus of the role is driving the renewal of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for preventative maintenance, ensuring continuity of service and high customer satisfaction. The role includes reviewing Service quotes to ensure accuracy and compliance with established service‑level parameters. It also involves identifying opportunities for planned maintenance and preparing corresponding service contract (SLA) quotations for smaller accounts and start‑ups. The position reports directly to the Service Sales Manager. Strong organizational skills and a high level of customer focus are essential to respond to incoming requests promptly and professionally. This is a Hybrid role located in either our Bohemia, NY or Newark, DE location.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of at least 2 years of industry experience and/or technical or military training
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Sales Support, ideally within the biopharmaceutical sector
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Support the field sales team with small or one-off renewals or basic contracts
  • Maintain the team e-mail box and assign as necessary to field sales specialist
  • Be first point of contact for new leads and provide first response information in conjunction with Service Sales Manager
  • Support field sales specialist with legal issues, i.e. Terms and Conditions, MSA and associated work
  • Help support Pipe Drive and Panda Doc
  • Develop targeted sales campaigns in conjunction with in-house marketing
  • Support various industry events and trainings
  • Actively participate in weekly departmental conference call and bi-weekly service contract discussions
  • Monitor service contract reports and assign upcoming renewals as required
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with management, coworkers, and customers, including responding by e-mail and phone
  • Ensure status of milestones is communicated internally and externally.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Occasional travel (10% domestically and or internationally), Valid Driver's License and Passport
