About The Position

Megger is a worldwide leader in the design and sale of electrical test equipment, providing advanced test and measuring instruments for electrical power applications for over 100 years. Their products offer testing solutions in critical electrical power maintenance areas such as cable fault locating, protective relay testing, and power quality testing, serving utilities, manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation, and telecommunications. The Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) will be responsible for managing customer-facing commercial and sales activities, providing technical and sales assistance to new and existing customers and distributors, and facilitating various sales-related processes.

Requirements

  • Degree / certificate in a technical field or 4+ years of industry experience in customer service or technical sales role
  • Strong customer service and sales focus with the ability to take care of both external and internal customers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • Solid computer skills
  • Detail oriented and well organized with strong communication skills – written and oral

Nice To Haves

  • Degree / certificate in an electrical/electronic field
  • Experience working with CRM, quotation, and ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming sales inquiries by phone, email and CRM system to provide technical and sales assistance to new and existing customers and distributors
  • Create, update, and maintain Leads and Opportunities in CRM, ensuring data accuracy
  • Prepare, issue, and communicate quotations and manage quotation-related correspondence
  • Facilitate all bid-related activities including document review, pricing activities, internal coordination, and submissions
  • Process all customer request forms such as vendor applications, Non-Disclose-Agreement (NDA), etc
  • Conduct follow‑up calls on existing quotations / opportunities to drive closure and address customer questions
  • Perform Terms & Conditions review prior to order processing including Credit Applications
  • Initiate system-based tasks to Back Office for order and service processing
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, sales team, channel partners, Megger manufacturing facilities, and other stakeholders
  • Produce regular reports relating to sales, revenues, customers, etc.
