About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our Midwest team. This role will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and play a key part in managing existing customer relationships, coordinating orders, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams. This position is designed as a developmental role with a clear path to transition into an Outside Sales position with approximately 1-2 years, based on performance, product knowledge, and market development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions
  • Interest in developing a career in outside sales

Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager in managing and growing existing customer accounts
  • Process and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Maintain and update pricing in internal systems
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and communication
  • Coordinate with plant locations and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Assist with product samples, approvals, and customer qualification processes
