About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for converting technician inspections and customer requests into approved work, managing customer communication through Work-in-Progress (WIP) meetings, onboarding new customers, and proactively driving fleet maintenance revenue. This role is a critical link between sales and service, ensuring that all identified work is accurately estimated, clearly communicated, and consistently followed through to approval or resolution. The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in driving revenue, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from estimate to execution. This position is highly collaborative, internally and externally facing, and requires strong communication, organization, and follow-through. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift minimum of 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment as required.
  • Sit for multiple hours at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate, timely estimates based on technician inspections and customer requests
  • Maintain consistent and proactive communication with customers until all estimates are resolved
  • Successfully convert estimates into approved work to drive revenue
  • Conduct effective WIP meetings that provide clarity, build trust, and move work forward
  • Ensure all customer onboarding is smooth, professional, and aligned with company processes
  • Maintain complete and accurate tracking of all estimates, approvals, and declines
  • Capture customer feedback and escalate concerns to leadership when necessary
  • Demonstrate strong follow-through—no estimate or customer request is left unresolved
  • Build, review, and deliver accurate estimates based on technician inspections and customer requests, coordinating with Lead Tech and Parts for scope, pricing, and availability
  • Follow up consistently on all estimates until approved or declined, including coordinating with sales for larger opportunities
  • Convert approved estimates into service orders, collect deposits or submit for approval, coordinate parts ordering, and assign work for scheduling
  • Lead customer communication, including WIP updates, estimate discussions, and resolving concerns to ensure a strong customer experience
  • Manage onboarding of new customers from sales, setting expectations and ensuring a smooth transition into service
  • Proactively review fleet maintenance needs (PMs, DOTs, annuals) and perform outreach to drive recurring work
  • Maintain accurate tracking of estimates, approvals, and performance metrics, and capture/escalate customer feedback to leadership
