We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to represent Metal Now with exceptional customer service, professionalism, and technical curiosity. This role focuses on inbound sales, customer follow-up, and identifying opportunities to add value through additional products and services. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning technical products, and building long-term customer relationships while working closely with operations, manufacturing, and quality teams. Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of metals or a strong willingness to learn
  • Ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and close sales
  • 3+ years of sales experience preferred
  • Strong math skills and comfort using tools and systems
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong product knowledge to confidently answer customer questions
  • Handle inbound sales, close deals, and process payments
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional needs
  • Develop leads and referrals through excellent service
  • Create and execute basic marketing and follow-up plans
  • Strive to achieve monthly sales quotas
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers using best practices in customer service
