About The Position

Total Filtration Services, Inc, is the largest full line distributor of filtration products and services in North America. We operate 13 stocking branch locations throughout the United States with our headquarters located in Troy, MI, and have a strong national network to manage any filtration needs. Our technical sales staff recommends filtration solutions based on each customer’s unique needs. We have a diverse background across numerous markets including Automotive, Aerospace, Food and Beverage, Data Centers, Chemical, Metals, Power Generation, General Industrial, Heavy Equipment and Oil/Gas Production. We support these markets by utilization of our preferred vendor strategy that leverages 90% of our spend with 80 of the world’s top manufacturers. Our in-plant value added services model continues to provide our customers with the highest levels of service focused on total cost of ownership and delivering year over year savings. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing house accounts and supporting overall sales growth by proactively identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering excellent customer service. This role includes generating and qualifying leads, managing a pipeline of opportunities, preparing quotes, and ensuring accurate data entry into CRM systems. The Inside Sales Representative collaborates closely with internal teams, suppliers, and Territory Managers to deliver effective solutions and technical support tailored to client needs, while also supporting broader branch and corporate initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact prospective customers using internal resources and sales tools to generate qualified leads.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities with a focus on conversion, utilizing CRM tools to track and follow up on activity.
  • Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their business objectives and aligning products and services to meet their needs.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through targeted retention and engagement efforts.
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes using the company’s business systems.
  • Leverage technical knowledge of filtration products to support customers and provide value-added solutions.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers, manufacturers, and suppliers to support the sales cycle and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and maintain detailed records within the CRM system.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and product expertise.
  • Stay informed on product offerings and industry trends through continuous learning and self-study.
  • Support branch and corporate initiatives related to sales, customer support, training, and marketing efforts.
  • Use sales reports and CRM analytics to manage assigned accounts effectively and identify growth opportunities.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and best practices.
