Requirements

  • Three to five years’ pertinent sales experience, preferably in generator product or service sales, industrial sales, or related industries
  • Bachelors’ degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Possess good problem-solving skills while being able to effectively resolve customer complaints
  • Results-oriented and a self-starter
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Sell generator services and products and prepare quotes in support of outside sales efforts for the Power Systems division.
  • Sell generator services and products in a designed territory
  • Prepare quotes to current and prospective industrial clients on generator systems and related products and services in support of outside sales efforts
  • Promote planned maintenance contracts to prospective customers
  • Operate efficiently and effectively with a minimum of supervision
  • Prepare sales call lists and other activity reports on a weekly basis
  • Follow up on sales leads
  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Maintain profit margins
