Purpose: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for building relationships with existing customers and finding new sales within those accounts. This position will also provide an escalation path for customers for requests or concerns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 9001/13485, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes). Customer Relationship Core Responsibility Build and maintain a strong relationship with the relevant customers Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally Work directly with internal departments to answer customer inquires and drive communication Lead and complete quarterly/annual reviews with customers Provide escalation path for customer inquires and complaints Sales Activities Core Responsibility Qualify identified leads and uncover customer needs Recommend TLC offerings by cross selling distribution and assemblies Prepare, propose, and negotiate quote pricing with customers Follow up on newly implemented accounts and projects Look for potential add-on/mating part opportunities to customers current product Product Knowledge Core Responsibility Keep up to date regarding knowledge of franchise line product information Ability to explain TLC's internal assembly capabilities Interpret customer drawings to look for product line cross opportunities Participate in franchise line product training Work directly with franchise line contacts as needed Internal Operations Assistance Secondary Responsibility Assist in CSR responsibilities as deemed appropriate Attend customer meetings, supplier trainings, and conferences as needed Assist Marketing in creating demand for TLC franchised products and TLC value added services Review data to determine actions needed to meet sales goals Provide input and review for process and procedure development Other Duties as Assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Organizational skills with ability to multitask effectively. High level of attention to detail. Complete data driven activities using multiple software tools. (ie. PowerPoint presentations, data analysis, graph creation, customer analytics, ect.) Excellent written and verbal skills, including telephone experience necessary. Strong analytical skills, including basic math. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to work closely with multiple personality types in numerous environments and stressful situations. Strategic, creative thinking to influence customer and supplier decisions. Skill to recognize problems, identify possible causes and resolve routine problems. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to establish priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction by being service-oriented, friendly, courteous, and flexible.
