The Inside Sales Representative will have a great deal of customer contact regarding contracts. This position is a hybrid of actively selling service contracts to our existing customer base coupled with administrative responsibilities to create quotes and manage opportunities. Requirements

  • A high level of organization and administrative professionalism and a high degree of attention to detail is required to be able to perform this role at the required level.
  • Sales experience, especially in a technology sales environment is valuable.
  • Strong skills in Salesforce CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Quoting and selling annual hardware and software maintenance service contract renewals prior to expiration of existing service contracts using Salesforce CRM and quoting module.
  • Quoting and selling managed services offered to identified end user customers.
  • Managing subscription-based software renewals.
  • Meeting or exceeding annual sales quota and objectives.
  • Accurately configuring and pricing quotes for each customer based on type of sale and/or customer.
  • Finding areas for upselling, consolidation or sales opportunities for equipment upgrades.
  • Following up through emails and phone calls on quotes with no customer response.
  • Performing discovery on existing customers who have systems not under current maintenance.
  • Working with Technical Support and Sales to support customer needs and improve sales.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of company products and technical support processes and educating customers on business practices and associated contractual specifics.
  • Performing independent research and fact finding using internal systems to determine what products were sold to customers to properly configure maintenance renewal quotations.
  • Consolidating and co-terminate maintenance renewal contracts to provide customers with simple and accurate renewal quotations.
  • Maintaining account team relationships and transferring leads as appropriate.
  • Working on ad hoc assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
  • Increase renewal sales for assigned end user accounts.
  • Interacting extensively with internal departments including technical support, order management, and finance.
  • Serving as a key contact for customers.
