About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative that is a dynamic, customer-focused professional responsible for driving sales growth within the aerospace fastener and distribution industry. This role requires a proactive approach to business development, including generating leads, nurturing relationships with key decision-makers, and closing major deals with OEM suppliers and manufacturers. The representative manages the entire customer order process—from quotations and order entry to expediting and customer service—ensuring a seamless experience for clients. Success in this position depends on the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, make strategic decisions on pricing and margins, and consistently exceed customer expectations through exceptional service and deep product knowledge. Collaboration with account managers, suppliers, and team members is essential, as is a commitment to continuous learning and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Candidates should bring strong sales skills, technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and database tools, and a proven track record in aerospace fastener or related distribution industries.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 years prior experience in similar Customer Service role
  • 1-2 years’ experience of data entry
  • Knowledge of how to complete reporting in excel and emails.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to balance priorities.
  • knowledge of how to use a database
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Attention to detail skills.
  • Intermediate level on Excel skills
  • Ability to work on multiple things simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Excel desired.
  • College degree in relevant field preferred
  • 1 year experience with aerospace hardware and fasteners
  • Understanding and experience with placing purchase orders
