About The Position

As the premier manufacturer of the world's largest selection of floating & spiral stairs, SS Industries, a member of the MBP Group, is always seeking talented candidates to elevate us further as an industry leader. Starting as a family business in the 1950s, SS Industries has a rich and storied history of quality products. SS Industries is the largest spiral stair manufacturer in the country. Our goal is to provide an expanding array of high-quality building products to customers across North America. SS Industries is a part of the MBP Group, which offers a comprehensive range of best-in-class specialty building products and services for the new construction and repair/remodel markets. Their other brands include Marwin, HB&G, Millwork 360, and Summit Stairs & Millwork. We’re looking for an experienced sales professional who can qualify, present, and close over the phone and is money motivated to join our team as an Inside Sales Representative.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience with discretionary consumer products (inside sales or outside sales)
  • Experience selling to end users/customers (B2C)
  • Technical aptitude to understand blueprints and building plans
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful sales development strategies
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to act independently and think critically to problem solve
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Strong verbal communication skills and phone presence
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in home remodeling/renovation/construction is highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop rapport quickly with company-provided leads to effectively navigate the sales process and close deals.
  • Collaborate with the internal engineering team on technical drawings for customers
  • Develop a robust understanding of our products to provide a consultative sales experience for our customers
  • Address customer concerns and objections, leveraging product knowledge and benefits
  • Produce clear next step reports for pipeline activity
  • Manage customer information in Salesforce
