About The Position

As an Inside Sales Representative at Glass America, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking auto glass repair and replacement services. This role involves handling inbound leads, preparing and presenting quotes, guiding customers through insurance decisions, and closing sales to ensure customers can safely get back on the road. It is a performance-driven position with significant earning potential through a commission program based on capture, conversion rate, and sales per hour. This role is also seen as a foundational opportunity for long-term career growth within Glass America, often serving as a starting point for future leaders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–3 years of inside sales, call center, customer service, or retail experience
  • Strong communication skills — verbal, written, and listening
  • A passion for helping customers and thriving in a performance-driven environment
  • Comfort using computers, typing, and multitasking
  • Ability to work a weekend day as part of your schedule
  • Ability to sit for long periods and work in a fast-paced call center environment

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls and emails with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Prepare and present quotes based on customer needs, using strong sales skills to close the sale
  • Help customers determine whether to pay out of pocket or use insurance
  • Educate customers on value-added services — especially ADAS calibration during windshield replacement
  • Follow up on unsold estimates to maximize capture and conversion
  • Help customers pick up right where they left off — whether online, through Customer Care, or after a previous inquiry
  • Document all customer interactions
  • Work with field teams and account management to support special accounts
  • Assist peers and help cover workload when needed
  • Consistently meet or exceed metrics such as conversion rate, sales per hour, and schedule accuracy
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned
