About The Position

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE (Hybrid Inside / Outside Industrial Sales) CRP is a 3rd-generation, veteran-owned family business headquartered in Cranbury, New Jersey that supplies industrial hose systems and high-precision electric motors to OEMs, distributors, and manufacturers. We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative who wants to build a long-term career in industrial sales. This hybrid role combines inside account management with customer visits and field support. You will work closely with outside sales, technical support, and customers to support real-world industrial applications involving hoses, fittings, and motors. For the right candidate, this role can evolve into a full outside sales position.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in industrial sales, distribution, manufacturing, or a related technical environment
  • Comfort working with physical industrial products and customer applications
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude preferred (hose, hydraulics, motors, equipment, or similar)
  • Strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using CRM or ERP systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and trade shows
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant industrial experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage industrial customer accounts from quotation through order execution
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales calls related to hose and motor applications
  • Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and support order entry
  • Work with technical staff to match products to real industrial applications
  • Visit customer facilities to support relationship development and growth
  • Identify new opportunities within OEM and distributor accounts
  • Coordinate with operations and purchasing to meet customer requirements
  • Support trade shows and on-site customer meetings
