This sales role will play an integral role in achieving the company's objectives by supporting the outside sales team and our customer base by providing industry and brand expertise to drive revenue growth, expanding market share, and delivering exceptional customer value across the United States and Canadian markets for ERICO’s Lightning Protection Solutions. WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Drive product sales growth and territory development by implementing and accomplishing sales objectives. Play an integral role in achieving the company's objectives by efficiently and effectively supporting the Outside Sales team and our Customer base. Actively support the demand creation and selling process Receive and make outbound calls, including cold calling. Work with lead databases to mine data (i.e. PEC). Develop new Opportunities in the course of these activities. Follow up on leads, opportunities, and quotes. Close deals, turn quotes into orders, value and conversion selling. Lead small non-strategic accounts. Support targeted marketing actions, campaigns and external events. Partner with Field Sales, Customer Care and our Customers Interface, communicate, build and maintain positive relationships with agents, distributors, installers, contractors and engineering firms. Provide support to the external sales team and customer base. Act as liaison for the Sales and Customer Care team. Forward RFQ’s on to Customer Care for direct quotation and interact with them for efficiencies in quoting. Coordinate Education and Marketing activities. Partner with Marketing on Sales Tools, including presentations of 6PP and coordinate technical seminars. Set up customer visits to ERICO manufacturing plants that support sales strategies regionally. Set up and coordinate ERICO University training sessions for agents and end users Prepare and conduct promotional activities with Channel Marketing Manager Work with Marketing to organize tradeshows. Super user of CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to handle all sales activities. Set up new accounts and contacts and properly assign them to the appropriate salesperson. Create and track leads, opportunities and quotes – Handle your funnel. Assign tasks and lead appointments for external sales team. Run and analyze sales reports for RSM’s that allow for more effective management of agencies and allow for more focused sales activities. Requirements

  • Ideally, 3+ years of technical sales, quoting, or estimating experience.
  • Ability to work remotely from a home office anywhere in the US and travel on average 5-10% travel throughout the US Market, with overnight trips expected.
  • A valid driver's licences is required.
  • A bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is preferred (Technical discipline highly preferred).
  • Energetic, self-motivated, coachable team player with strong interpersonal skills and a focus on career growth.
  • Excellent communicator with professional presentation skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences across organizational levels.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; proficient in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Any experience with lightning protection is highly preferred.
