About The Position

The inside sales representative provides sales support to our sales team selling our Great Lakes portfolio of products and services. This role provides reactive phone support, e-mail sales support, and engages in proactive business development efforts to grow company revenue.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to close deals and overcome objections.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with customers.
  • Self-motivated and target driven.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions for customers.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in inside sales or telemarketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience in data center industry.
  • Experience with CRM management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to generate sales leads and promote company products and services.
  • Utilizes proactive calls, emails, and social media outreach to build relationships with current and potential customers.
  • Utilize sales techniques and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions based on their requirements.
  • Provide basic quotes, information on product availability, pricing, and competitive portfolio cross-referencing suggestions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up actions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
