About The Position

Inside Sales Representative- Ashburn, VA area Are you a natural connector who thrives on building relationships, winning new business, and driving results? HazTek is looking for a high‑energy Inside Sales Representative who loves engaging with customers, creating opportunities, and playing a key role in company growth. In this role, you will help fuel HazTek’s expansion by finding new customers and strengthening existing relationships, generate leads, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with a dynamic sales team, and leverage marketing initiatives and industry insights to position HazTek as a trusted leader in safety services.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years customer-facing experience.
  • 3+ years sales experience.
  • Experience with prospecting, appointment setting, CRM systems, and sales techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to qualify opportunities and build rapport.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong multitasking and organization.
  • Positive, enthusiastic demeanor.
  • Works independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability Monday–Friday 8AM–5PM, occasional after-hours needs.
  • Demonstrate HazTek core values: Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability.
  • MUST LIVE IN ASHBURN, VA AREA
  • Indoor work environment.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Regular phone/computer use.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research industries and decision makers to uncover new opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers to generate repeat business.
  • Engage prospective and current clients through consistent outreach.
  • Collaborate with sales team members to develop tailored strategies.
  • Respond quickly to customer inquiries.
  • Convert inbound prospect calls.
  • Communicate HazTek’s services, pricing, and value.
  • Qualify leads and set appointments.
  • Follow up on promotions and initiatives.
  • Log customer information in CRM.
  • Prepare proposals.
  • Stay informed on industry developments.
  • Support tradeshow efforts.
  • Support broader sales goals.
