Requirements

  • Experience: No prior sales experience required; on-the-job training provided, with previous customer-facing experience a plus. Must have a high school diploma.
  • Customer-focused: Listens carefully to customer needs and concerns and responds with professionalism, clarity, and follow-through.
  • Detail-oriented: Handles CRM entries, estimates, drawings, warranty information, and follow-up details accurately and consistently.
  • Clear Communicator: Clearly communicates expectations, timelines, pricing, and next steps to both customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborative: Works well across departments to deliver a smooth, well-coordinated customer experience.
  • Problem-solver: Adapts to changing priorities, finds solutions within company guidelines, and steps in to support the team during busy periods.
  • Computer Skills: Comfortable with basic computer use, including MS Office and learning internal systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers via phone, email, website chat, and in person, answering questions about swing sets, customization options, pricing, and services.
  • Consult with customers to understand needs and guide the design of customized swing set layouts.
  • Prepare estimates and drawings and manage follow-up communication on revisions and next steps.
  • Guide customers through the ordering, payment, and delivery process, ensuring accuracy and clear expectations.
  • Work rotating Saturday shifts during peak seasons to support customer demand.
  • Assist with occasional playground events and represent King Swings at 3-5 trade shows per year.
  • Travel occasionally to meet with potential leads and attend trade shows.

Benefits

  • $20/hour plus commissions
  • Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. schedule, averaging 45 hours per week during peak season, with occasional Saturdays in March-May
