The Inside Sales Project Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences within Brady Services. This position is accountable for quote generation volume and velocity, quote-to-close conversion rates, and seamless coordination of awarded projects with parts procurement and service delivery teams. The role combines consultative inside sales execution with project oversight, partnering closely with customers, field sales representatives, and field service technicians to convert leads into profitable projects and ensure successful delivery from quotation through completion. The successful candidate will develop deep expertise in Brady’s full product portfolio and serve as a key contributor to the strategic growth of the Service business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; and two plus years of related sales or commercial HVAC experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs is required, as well as a general familiarity with computers, and the ability to learn new software applications
  • Valid Driver’s License, Proof of personal insurance
  • Ability to read and write. Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers. Ability to understand and translate correspondence from dictation.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Ability to prove US employment eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Deliver inside sales support across all Brady Services business segments, with primary emphasis on Trane Service Product sales and associated service technician (“tech quoting”) generated opportunities.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries, providing technical guidance and handling special requests with a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Create accurate and timely quotations, coordinate quoted projects with parts procurement and service teams, review billing accuracy, deliver weekly progress updates on open jobs, and collaborate directly with Regional Service Project Managers.
  • Input selections into the Trane system and Salesforce, then issue purchase orders for timely project completion.
  • Partner with field technicians, outside sales, customer service, and inside sales representatives to develop comprehensive proposals for repairs, upgrades, retrofits, and controls projects.
  • Manage the full quoting process within Salesforce for every opportunity, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain and update all sales records in Salesforce, including opportunities, closed-won projects, customer profiles, campaign results, and pipeline health.
  • Act as the internal champion and trainer for the company’s job quoting tool, driving adoption across technicians, inside sales, and the sales team.
  • Provide parts research support to field associates and collaborate with other Brady business units to resolve warranty and product-related issues.
  • Prepare professional written proposals for the Brady sales team as required.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Brady’s products and services and actively identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximize revenue per customer.
  • Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Collaborate across all departments to uphold Brady’s mission, values, and commitment to customer excellence.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends to meet customer and business demands.
  • Demonstrate and promote a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the Company
