Requirements

  • Prior sales experience and/or training preferred
  • Solid understanding of local market conditions
  • Knowledge of resale values of particular machinery a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of company specific software
  • Must possess a valid driver license
  • Ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Promotes all aspects of Doggett to its current and prospective customers by assisting Sales Representatives with sales and services related to capital equipment solutions.
  • Establishes, maintains, qualifies and nurtures business relationships with current customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services.
  • Proactively manages assigned accounts employing disciplined outreach campaigns; acts as a first point of contact to enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintains accurate customer account information and machine population within company specific software; develops and qualifies equipment and/or parts and service leads, forwarding to sales team as appropriate.
  • Makes telephone calls and other forms of digital touch-points to existing and prospective customers; researches sources for developing prospective customers.
  • Coordinates sales efforts with Sales Department and Sales Leadership.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
  • Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of Doggett Company, LLC.
  • Proactively seeks and participates in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Participates in all company/location driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings and other related efforts.
  • Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
