Inside sales professional’s work towards achieving specified sales goals and provide world-class customer experience while ensuring quality and consistency of product delivery for GE Appliances Air & Water Solutions Pro customer base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience or other closely related experience.
  • Proven negotiating skills; must be tenacious at driving sales to obtain results.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Appliance Sales, Air and/or Water Sales industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales plans that support business objectives.
  • Ability to build and grow proven customer relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently; must be self-motivated and motivated to succeed.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management as well as peers.
  • Previous phone-based sales experience preferred.
  • Preferred location is Louisville KY, other large metropolitan locations within EST time zone

Responsibilities

  • Execute and achieve all sales and margin operating plans.
  • Sell all applicable GEA Air & Water products to new and existing Pro customers.
  • Work with field Area Sales Managers to identify and generate new business opportunities while developing marketing strategies to grow sales in the Pro Industry.
  • Develop rapport with regional customers and effectively solicit new accounts from initial call to close to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Implement a proactive call schedule to increase sales growth and productivity (outbound calling, customer touch percentage).
  • Assess competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends to identify sales opportunities.
  • Partner with Distributors to share leads and grow the Pro sales channel.
  • Set up customer accounts and support distributors with service and post sales issues when necessary.
  • Use digitization tools to improve overall sales effectiveness.
  • Provide customer maintenance and support.
  • Train customers on product features and functionality.
  • Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned.
  • Limited travel required
