The Inside Sales Representative (Plumbing & Contractor Accounts) partners closely with outside sales and operations teams to grow and support a portfolio of contractor and trade accounts. This role focuses on driving revenue, increasing product adoption, and delivering exceptional service while maintaining strong margins. The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of wholesale distribution, thrives in a team-first environment, and is confident working directly with contractors, plumbers, and trade professionals. Experience in plumbing or contractor-facing sales is strongly preferred. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1+ year of sales or account support experience (preferably in a fast-paced environment)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a high-volume setting
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CRM/ERP systems)
  • Proven reliability, professionalism, and follow-through

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in plumbing, HVAC, irrigation, or contractor-facing sales environments
  • 2+ years of inside sales or wholesale distribution experience
  • Experience working with contractors, builders, or trade professionals (B2B sales)
  • Ability to read or learn product specifications, job requirements, and technical applications
  • Comfortable quoting, upselling, and driving additional product adoption
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Experience managing customer accounts or supporting a book of business

  • Implement strategic time management to optimize productivity and customer response times
  • Support account development with clear revenue, product mix, and profitability goals
  • Prepare quotes and pricing aligned with company standards and customer expectations

  • Adapt communication style to effectively engage different customer segments throughout the supply chain
