Job Summary The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for creating a robust self-service channel for our customers and growing revenue in a portion of our account segment. This leader will be responsible to hire, train and motivate inside sales reps to meet and exceed growth revenue targets. This leader will need to be knowledgeable and grounded in sales methodology and lead the team accordingly.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in sales, tech support, product management or business development
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in selling and working with dispensing equipment
  • Minimum 5 years leading a team
  • Experience implementing CRM systems or Self Service Channel preferred
  • Analytical skill to review markets, estimate potential sales opportunities and determine resources required
  • Written and oral communication skills to be able to present to leadership as well as communicate with a large remote sales team
  • Intellectual curiosity to explore products or markets that may not have been thoroughly reviewed in the past
  • Collaborative skills to work with marketing, product management, engineering, and other internal groups to execute campaigns
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20%

Responsibilities

  • Has deep knowledge of Nordson products, prices, policies and procedures; knows which products to best apply in all phases of assigned industries and can train all Inside Sales Reps to offers upgrades, alternatives and spare parts and solutions
  • Stays up to date on info that pertains to our industry and will communicate any risks or trends up to the Sales Director for review on a regular cadence
  • Maintains active cross functional engagement with Sr Accounts leader, Region Leaders, Service Leader and other leaders as needed to ensure alignment on important business decisions that impact our customer experience and revenue growth.
  • Have a Passion for selling, hitting targets of all kinds, and meeting and exceeding customer needs and can motivate others around them.
  • Exhibits clear ability to interface and build relationships with customers, at all levels in accounts as well as vendors & co-workers.
  • Outstanding technical aptitude
  • Understand the importance that all team members use of CRM and like applications to maintain detailed and accurate customer details and will hold team accountable to maintain per standard work.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
