About The Position

We're seeking an experienced, results-driven Medicare Advantage Sales Manager to help lead and develop the team of full-time in-office licensed health insurance agents. Your primary responsibility will be owning the overall results of the sales team and their day-to-day performance. Driving enrollment and conversion goals, coaching reps to peak performance, and ensuring compliance with CMS regulations—all while fostering a high-energy, supportive team culture. This is a high-impact role; our team is growing quickly and the Sales Manager will be a key contributor in not only how we perform as a team but also how we make decisions and improve processes as we grow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of direct Medicare Advantage industry experience is required.
  • High level of knowledge around CMS and Medicare Advantage compliance rules and regulations.
  • A minimum of 1+ years in sales management/people management/team leadership.
  • Willingness and capability to work from our Austin, TX office.
  • A proven leader in management with a track record of developing salespeople and building teams that achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to manage change effectively and lead teams through periods of growth and transformation.
  • Experience leveraging data and analytics to assess team performance and inform coaching and development initiatives.
  • Experience implementing and managing sales processes and strategies within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong ability to foster a collaborative and motivating team environment, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of licensed health agents to achieve individual and team enrollment targets.
  • Lead team syncs, coachings, and 1:1’s with your team.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership to refine sales processes, scripts, and lead management strategies.
  • Make data-driven decisions by establishing and monitoring clear sales goals and objectives for the team. (Conversion rates, talk time, enrollment quality)
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with CMS marketing guidelines and carrier requirements.
  • Ensure new hires are properly onboarded and receive the necessary training to succeed in their roles.
  • Support and own the communication and implementation of new team processes, script changes, training updates, system changes etc.
