About The Position

Del Real’s Inside Sales Manager, Costco, brings the vision of the brand to life. To be the most loved ambassador of Hispanic fresh foods & flavors in the US.  The primary of the role is to support direct sales  delivering growth on Del Real’s growth strategy to Costco.

Requirements

  • Possess exceptional knowledge of Costco’s business model and execution strategies.
  • Proactive problem solving with internal teammates, and Costco buying teams.
  • Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to adjust style to effectively interact with external customers and internal staff.
  • Possess strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Power Point as well as Internet research
  • Must be assertive, highly self-motivated and enjoy being a member of a fast-paced environment
  • The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in business or a related field or demonstrate commensurate experience in a similar role Minimum 5 years Costco sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand Costco’s strategies, procedures, and executional imperatives. Engage customer to support day-to-day interactions (deliveries, orders, RA’s, roadshows, etc).
  • Achieve agreed Costco sales by working with DRF customer service, logistics, and Costco to ensure smooth item launch, and delivery.
  • Assist in implementation of pricing strategy with Costco in order to optimize volume and revenue while maximizing the operating profit. Tracking regional volume commitments, pricing, and accruals.
  • Collaboration with internal departments (Finance, Operations, Marketing, QA, and R&D) to optimize profitability and reduce disruptions due to swings in demand or other business fluctuations.
  • Manage and track regional accrual balances, accrual spend, commitments
  • Assist with leading the Costco point of contact relationship.
  • Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
  • Assist Director to create and execute Costco Annual Business Plans
  • Effectively utilize syndicated data to identify opportunities and provide management with post analysis results (IRI, Power BI, and internal sales forecasting).
  • Assumes responsibility for implementing special projects as requested by Leadership.
