About The Position

Join Esri Summer Internship Program Join our Inside Sales team and gain hands-on experience working with other inside sales representatives, account managers and other staff to educate customers on the value of GIS while also using your technical skills. You’ll apply your skills to support Esri’s mission of helping organizations solve real-world problems through geospatial technology.

Requirements

  • We seek students who are majoring in GIS, geography, or business or are obtaining an MBA and are currently enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program at a university in the United States; undergrads must be in junior or senior standing
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this posting. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Able to complete a 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2026
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Desirable students that will be graduating with a graduate or undergrad level degree by 2026.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of GIS and Esri products is a plus
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or technical support if beneficial

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries and generate new sales to fuel Esri’s growth.
  • Support sales team by responding to leads through email, chats, and phone calls.
  • Learn to identify sales opportunities and advance them forward in the sales process.
  • Develop an understanding of how Esri technology addresses real-world business challenges.
