Requirements

  • 1+ years in inside sales, customer service, service desk, or technical support required
  • preferably in industrial or electrical products; able to explain technical products to both experienced professionals and less technical buyers.
  • Communicative: Clearly explains technical information and builds trust with customers over the phone, email, and in person.
  • Organized: Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and follow-through on quotes, orders, and customer requests.
  • Growth-minded: Eager to learn and develop within a technical sales environment.
  • Team-oriented: Works well with service, sales, and warehouse teams to solve problems efficiently.
  • Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers and typing accurately for daily order processing and communication.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to lift 50-75 lbs. as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read technical specs or drawings is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Help customers select the right motors, drives, pumps, generators, and parts for their applications and specifications.
  • Prepare & follow up on quotes, sales orders, and service requests.
  • Process orders and returns accurately and track deliveries.
  • Coordinate with the service team for scheduling and customer updates.
  • Maintain working product knowledge and awareness of availability.
  • Provide backup support in shipping & receiving, including forklift operation (training & certification provided).
  • Assist customers with loading and unloading electric motors.
