About The Position

Colony Hardware is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Inside Counter Sales Associate to join our team! Reporting to the Branch Manager, an Inside Counter Sales Representative is primarily responsible for executing the Colony mission of customer service. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for facilitating sales by processing orders and quotations while providing application and product expertise to existing Colony customers. This person may also assist with operations as needed in the Warehouse or other duties to fulfill the needs of the branch and its customers. A Little About Your Day: You will work directly with customers to ensure they order the right products and that the orders are ready on time. Working face-to-face and over phone and email with customers, you will provide a consultative approach to customer service, suggesting additional and alternative products, add-ons, and other support. You will coordinate with outside sales, operations, purchasing, and other departments to process orders. You will communicate with customers via phone and email, responding to the needs of customers quickly and accurately. You will support operations by pulling orders and packing them as needed. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of successful inside sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry and products a plus.
  • At minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of customer service and order processing systems.
