About The Position

Conklin Metal Industries is growing, and we are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Inside Sales Associate to join our Austell branch team. You will play a key role in supporting our Territory Managers, building customer relationships, and helping drive branch success. Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong data entry and attention to detail
  • Experience with ERP systems (P21 preferred)
  • Sales mindset with the ability to build relationships and identify opportunities
  • Willingness to jump in and support the team where needed

Responsibilities

  • Support Territory Managers with quotes, order entry, and product sourcing
  • Handle inbound sales through phone, email, and walk-in customers
  • Build relationships with customers and provide excellent service
  • Make outbound calls to existing customers to drive sales and support delivery schedules
  • Serve as a product resource and subject matter expert for customers
  • Coordinate communication between customers, sales, and the branch team
  • Assist with new customer setup and onboarding
  • Monitor customer trends and identify sales opportunities
  • Partner with inventory and replenishment teams to meet customer demand
  • Support new product setup and item maintenance
  • Work cross-functionally with credit and other internal teams as needed
