About The Position

We are seeking a customer‑focused Inside Sales Associate to support daily counter operations, assist customers with equipment sales and rentals, and ensure efficient, high‑quality service in a fast‑paced environment. This role is essential to improving customer experience, increasing revenue, and providing additional coverage for both in‑store and phone‑based support. Candidates should have strong communication skills, sales experience, and knowledge of the equipment and products we offer.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of construction equipment and products we sell (or willingness to learn quickly).
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service preferred, ideally in construction equipment, industrial supply, or a related industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to multitask effectively and manage time in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and inventory‑management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service to walk‑in and call‑in customers, assessing needs and recommending appropriate equipment or products.
  • Coordinate and schedule equipment rentals, including pickups, deliveries, and transfers.
  • Ensure all customer interactions are completed professionally, accurately, and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient counter and showroom workspace.
  • Support revenue growth by helping expand rental and sales opportunities.
  • Follow and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and operational processes.
  • Manage rental equipment check‑ins in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues at the counter and via phone, ensuring prompt service and resolution.
  • Assist with inventory management, including coordinating transfers, monitoring stock levels, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, including addressing service concerns and managing complaints with professionalism.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations, ensure smooth branch workflow, and contribute to overall team success.
