About The Position

We’re growing and we’re looking for driven Inside Sales professionals who want to grow with us! As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be a key point of contact for customers, supporting their day-to-day needs, solving problems, and driving sales growth. This role blends relationship management, technical product knowledge, and fast-paced execution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in electrical distribution or industrial supply
  • Electrical product knowledge required (wire & cable experience highly preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships and close sales
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order entry and pricing
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (or ability to learn quickly)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet
  • Basic math skills for pricing, margins, and order accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and grow customer accounts through proactive sales and service
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and internal systems with urgency and professionalism
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, pricing requests, and bids
  • Process orders, returns, and changes with a high level of accuracy
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate electrical products and solutions
  • Source alternate or equivalent products based on availability, pricing, and timelines
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Manage order flow including backorders, deliveries, and job tracking
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records in ERP/CRM systems
  • Build long-term customer relationships through dependable service and communication
  • Meet or exceed sales and gross margin goals
  • Stay current on electrical products, market trends, and industry changes
