We're on the hunt for a dynamic Inside Sales & Marketing Representative to be the frontline hero connecting our innovative products with customers worldwide. SUMMARY Engage in the quoting and ordering process for all Legacy and new customers who rely on our precision CNC machined plastic parts across a wide variety of industries. Decipher CAD drawings and make material recommendations to engineers, procurement personnel and C levels alike. Act as liaison for internal support departments to get customer orders moved through ERP system from quote to cash. Work with management to market our machine shop to new industries and customers utilizing direct mail, social media, contacts, trade shows, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, together with the EPD President or management team, marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.
  • Research, analyze, and monitor factors so that market opportunities may be capitalized on and the effects of competitive activity may be minimized.
  • Assist with setup and layout of trade show booth and related activities.
  • Evaluate market reactions to advertising programs, merchandising policy, and product packaging and formulation to ensure the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Conduct marketing surveys on current and new product concepts.
  • Prepare sales activity reports on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Provide sales and customer service support to the internal sales and customer service teams and to the company’s external representatives.
